La Palmilla Boutique Resort and Gardens, a new boutique resort set on 60 acres near Glen Rose, has opened, drawing in guests with luxurious offerings for weddings, corporate events and family reunions. Located just a short 45 minutes southwest of the DFW metroplex, the resort seamlessly blends the sophistication of traditional hotels with the comfort of a vacation home. Guests can choose from a variety of accommodations, including one-bedroom king or two-bedroom queen villas, as well as three-bedroom casitas. Boasting a prime location near the Brazos River, the resort offers immediate access to its scenic beauty. A chapel and an event space (both with 200-person seating capacity), resort-style pool, outdoor grills, fitness center and enchanting garden spaces provide guests ample opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment over an extended wedding weekend.
One of the highlights of La Palmilla is the Casa Del Ray chapel, adorned with breathtaking Dalle de Verre stained glass throughout. Crafted by Granbury artisan, Cody Stromberg, these stained glass pieces took nine months to create. The chapel itself showcases classic Spanish Colonial architecture and has an indoor seating capacity of 200 people. Inspired by Revelation 4, Jesus’ Throne Room, Casa Del Ray offers a truly unique and spiritual atmosphere for ceremonies and celebrations.
With a total 31 bedrooms, La Palmilla provides an ideal setting for hosting weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and memorable family events. Schedule a tour at La Palmilla and discover an oasis of tranquility and elegance.
