LINDSEY AND COOPER met through their love of aviation.

After nine months of dating, they went on a road trip to Turner Falls to hike and zipline. Afterwards, Cooper took Lindsey to Joe T. Garcia’s for dinner. When they arrived, they turned a corner and saw all of their family and close friends. Cooper got down on his knee in front of everyone and asked her to marry him.

They were only engaged for 30 days. They toured the Lazy S Hacienda on March 24 and found out the only weekend that was available was April 24—and they went for it. Lindsey has experience as a wedding planner, so she welcomed the challenge of planning everything in a month. It left little room for second guessing big decisions.

THE INSPIRATION

Lindsey met the owner of Lazy S Hacienda, Mamie, for the sake of developing a marketing strategy for the venue and knew for a long time that was where she wanted to get married. The venue fit her and Cooper’s Western boho style perfectly—the bridal suite is almost identical to the living room in their new home.

Their color palette consisted of green, white, pink and fuchsia, working off of the natural beauty of the landscape and venue for décor.

HOW THEY CUSTOMIZED

TCU Florist saved the day to provide bouquets in a flash. Lindsey and her mother created the rest of the floral arrangements, with fresh green runners, bud vases and natural greenery on the arbor for the ceremony.

Lindsey’s coworkers created a personalized logo for the couple and designed the menus.

Their cocktail hour took place outside on the terrace, where donkeys served beers from baskets while wandering around for guests to pet.

Lindsey’s dress was a boho-inspired gown by William West from Blush Love Bride. Lindsey’s rings were custom from the Diamond Factory Dallas and Cooper’s was custom from Reads Jewelers. Lindsey’s white gold leaf earrings were from Bachendorf’s.

For their reception, they had a simple white on white cake with boho touches.

When the night was over, Cooper whisked Lindsey away in his pickup truck.
