THE INSPIRATION

Artspace 111 was the perfect venue for their “modern outdoor garden” theme, with its lovely outdoor options and flexible indoor gallery and event space. By working with Brandi Chapman and the rest of the venue’s team, they were able to bring their vision to life.

They incorporated modern art from local artists and a beautiful art exhibit backdrop to tie in modern elements. The use of orange, brown, pink, red and cream in the design worked well with the venue’s foliage. The ceremony took place under a tree with a floral installation at the altar. The couple didn’t need much décor, thanks to the garden’s natural beauty.

HOW THEY CUSTOMIZED

The couple chose their invitations from Brown Fox Creative because they liked the shape and color of the paper. Their detail cards brought in more color to work in the art elements of their theme. Geoffrey designed the welcome, seating chart and drink menu signs.

Posh and Prim took inspiration from Beverly’s Pinterest board and created the floral decor and bouquets for the wedding. They incorporated florals into the cake, photo booth and lounge as well. Their two-tier cake from Crumb and Kettle, complete with florals, looked like a piece of pottery, which is what Beverly wanted.

During the reception, the garden was illuminated with hanging string lights. They played their favorite music to set the tone for dinner, and the patio served as a dance floor. The photo booth from Capture Co. was a big hit among guests. It was a last-minute splurge, and Beverly was really pleased with how it turned out. The Styled Affair installed the backdrop with a neon sign that said “Better Together,” and Posh and Prim added flowers to bring it all together.

Guests finished the evening with late-night bites from Del Campo Empanadas.
